Information for visitors

Visiting hours

General visiting hours are between 8.30am – 1.30pm and 3pm – 8pm each day.

To allow patients to get plenty of rest, we suggest visiting be kept to a minimum with closest family and friends. If you have any visitor restrictions, please speak with the Nurse Unit Manager upon admission.

Preventing infection

If you are feeling unwell or suffering from an illness, including cold, flu or gastro, please do not visit the hospital. This may cause health risks for you and patients. In this situation, we encourage family and friends to talk to patients by telephone.

Car parking

On-site parking is available at the hospital, with additional street parking also available nearby.

Smoking

St Vincent’s Griffith is a smoke-free environment and smoking is strictly prohibited within all areas of the hospital and its grounds, including all entrances, outdoor areas and carparks. Electronic cigarettes are also prohibited.

Mobile phones

Please don’t use mobile phones near monitoring equipment as they may interfere with our patient systems.
